πΎ I'm as active at 64 as I was at 50, here's how π
Talofa, Apa here, the other co-owner of Omrub.
After reading how Angela used Omrub during her holiday, I thought Iβd share how it helps me stay active and keep doing the things I enjoy during summer.
πΎ Staying Active with Sport
Iβve always loved sport. Rugby, softball, and squash were my main passions for years, but these days Iβve discovered pickleball - itβs a bit easier on the body!
At Henderson Squash Club, we now have six outdoor pickleball courts, and with the great weather lately, Iβve been playing every couple of days. To keep my body moving, I use Omrub before and after my games, especially on my knees since my double knee replacement.Β
As Omrub ambassador DJ Forbes recently said,"Omrub's great for loosening up muscles to get you moving!"
Using it after exercise really helps me avoid the aches that come with age. I massage it into my calves, achilles, knees and hamstrings⦠and trust me, my body quickly lets me know if I forget!
π Christmas Family Sports Day
Every Christmas we have a big family sports day with my extended fanau.
Itβs full-on fun! Tug of war, touch rugby, fun games, and even an Amazing Race-style challenge.
I have a big family (See pic below) - 5 children, 10 grandchildren, and 14 siblings, plus around 75 nieces and nephews (and a few hundred great nieces and nephews - half live in Australia now π).
Itβs competitive, itβs loud, and itβs exhausting - but I love being involved.
Those days definitely take a toll on the body, and Omrub is an essential part of my kit to keep me moving and recover afterwards.

π Walking the Dog
Our dog Koko still insists on his daily walks - to be honest, he takes me for a walk. Between years of sport and Koko pulling on the lead, my shoulders have taken a hammering and often ache at night.
Massaging Omrub into my shoulders and neck before bed really helps ease the discomfort and helps me sleep better.
Hereβs to a summer of movement, family, and feeling good.
