The BaaBaaz boys swapped the rugby ball for a golf putt for the first golf fundraiser to help support men's mental health in conjunction with Sir John Kirwan Foundation.
A stunning day out at Formosa Golf Club for the inaugural event, Omrub came along to sponsor a hole and get amongst the cause. We shared some good chats with the boys as they made their rounds.
Mana Ashford shared with us what this event means to the lads.
“The guys understand the value of supporting mental health awareness and know how important it is to be a good mate. There’s a lot of pressures out there, and they understand that anyone could be struggling.
All of us enjoy the golf, it’s a good chance to have a catch-up and be involved in a fundraiser that really aligns with our thinking.
We've heard awesome feedback and 6 teams have already locked in their spot for next year!”
Thank you to BaaBaaz for inviting us to join forces. It was sunny, there was a cool breeze, few cheeky drinks flowing, an amazing dinner and an incredible charity auction… You’ll certainly see us there next year with plenty more Omrub to keep everyone swinging in tip top condition.
Cheers to all involved and the other sponsors who helped make it happen. To learn more about the Sir John Kirwan foundation head to jkfoundation.org.nz
